George Porter, Jr.
George Porter Jr. is an American musician, best known as the bassist and singer of The Meters. Along with Art Neville, Porter formed the group in the mid 1960s and came to be recognized as one of the progenitors of funk. The Meters disbanded in 1977, but reformed in 1989
Jacob Tanner
Playing lap-steel guitar out of New Orleans, his other projects include a bluegrass ensemble called the Tanglers.
Matt Hubbard
A musician and producer working out of Austin TX USA. Matt Hubbard recorded with Willie Nelson often and play keys, trombone and harmonica in 7 Walkers with Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann, guitarist Papa Mali and Meters bassist George Porter, JR. The Matt Hubbard Trio plays weekly at C-Boy's Heart & Soul and also now plays and records with Edie Brickell & New Bohemains.
Terence Higgins (drums)
Terence Higgins, born and raised in New Orleans, has been playing the drums since elementary school. He graduated from Southern University. Terence Higgins is the former member of the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band, bringing New Orleans-culture all over the world. He has toured with Warren Haynes Band and is a member of Ani DiFranco's band.

Sean Carrey recently wrote and produced songs for the Fox TV Show “K-Ville,” Mannie Fresh, Soul Rebels Brass Band, and writer on Irma Thomas' latest record Audience With the Queen!
Daryl Johnson
Daryl Johnson is an American multi-instrumentalist, best known as a bassist, percussionist, vocalist, songwriter, composer, and producer, who rose to prominence through his extensive session work and live performances with major artists across genres including funk, rock, blues, and folk. Born in Louisiana and nephew to members of The Neville Brothers, Johnson began his career contributing to funk albums before expanding into broader musical styles, earning acclaim for his versatile playing and musical contributions.
Throughout his decades-long career, Johnson has collaborated with an impressive array of musicians, including The Neville Brothers (on albums such as Neville-ization, Fiyo on the Bayou, and Brother's Keeper, where he also co-wrote several tracks), Emmylou Harris (as the original bassist in her backing band Spyboy, featured on the live album Spyboy and subsequent reissues), Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel (on Us and Hit), Marianne Faithfull (Vagabond Ways), Daniel Lanois (on For the Love of Wynona and Shine), and Jimmy Buffett (Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads). His work extends to recordings with Boz Scaggs (Come on Home), Linda Ronstadt (We Ran), U2 (via producer Daniel Lanois), Iggy Pop, Joni Mitchell, and Mick Jagger, among others, showcasing his ability to adapt to diverse musical contexts.
Tom Fitzpatrick
Tom has toured the World playing R&B Soul jazz and blues with the Walter Wolfman Washington band, as well as many other groups, like Joe Krown, Russell Batiste, and Crescent City Soul. Born and raised in New Orleans playing Saxophone since the early days of Tipitinas as well as many Festivals and clubs throughout the US and abroad.
Mark Levron
Mark Levron is a New Orleans trumpeter, vocalist, and bandleader whose music blends the city’s iconic brass band tradition with soul, funk, and rhythm & blues. Raised in Houma, Louisiana, Mark grew up in a home filled with music. His father, Al Levron, a Louisiana Musicians Hall of Fame inductee, is an accomplished bandleader and multi-instrumentalist who made music a constant presence in family life. By the age of 10, Mark was already arranging songs by ear and leading school Mardi Gras parades.
Mark has performed with legendary New Orleans artists including Ernie K-Doe (“Mother-in-Law”) and Jean Knight (“Mr. Big Stuff”). He toured internationally with Samantha Fish and has shared the stage with Marc Broussard, Tab Benoit, and the late blues legend Walter “Wolfman” Washington. He also appeared on HBO’s Treme and performs regularly with New Orleans staples like Davis Rogan and Soul Brass Band.
With influences like Kermit Ruffins, Leroy Jones, and Nicholas Payton, Mark brings soulful vocals, dynamic horn work, and undeniable stage charisma to every show. Whether it’s a packed festival, a private celebration, or a black-tie corporate gala, Mark delivers a high-energy performance that gets people dancing and leaves a lasting impression.
